Five people killed on iphone 5 replacement screen

Police have made an impassioned plea to the community to drive carefullyafter a horror weekend saw five people, including an 11 year old,dieon Victoria's roads.

There were three major crashes,iphone 5 replacement screen with two of them resulting in double fatalities.


"Unfortunately this weekend saw a number of lives lost. We again put out the call for all Victorians to take care while driving especially as the holiday period approaches."

Mr Fryer urged passengers to speak up if they felt the driver was taking risks.

"If you are in a car and you feel that the driver is not paying attention, is engaging in risky behaviour or not fit to drive then speak up," he said.

"We all have a voice when it comes to road safety and it is important that we use it to ensure that our loved ones are not lost on the road."

He said that although the road toll had reduced considerably since the 1970s, " zero deaths on the roads" was the ultimate goal.

"In 1970, 1061 people lost their lives on the roads and today we stand at 240," Mr Fryer said.

"However 240 is 240 too many.

"All of the community must focus on zero and the only way we will achieve it is with the community sharing the responsibility."

On Sunday, aman, aged in his 70s,drove his car onto the wrong side of the road and collided with an oncoming car in Carrum Downs, in Melbourne's southeast, about 1.45pm.

Victoria Police spokesman Adam West saidthe Holden Commodore was travelling south along Frankston Dandenong Road when the driver lost control.

"The driver of the Ford died at the scene while her male passenger and the driver of the Holden were bothtaken to hospital with non life threatening injuries," Senior Constable West said.

There was another head on collision on the Midland Highway at Avonmore, in central Victoria, about 1.15pm on Sunday.

Victoria Police spokeswomanJulie Anne Newman said itappearedtwo cars collidedabout 150metres north of Lanmore Road.

The driver and a passenger from one of the cars died at the scene, while the driver and a passenger from the other car survived.

The other double fatality, claiming the lives of an 11 year old girl and a woman aged in her 80s, occurred on Saturday evening.

The pair died in hospital after the crashat the intersection of Irymple Avenue and Calder Highway about 5pmnear Mildura.

Police believe that a car travelling north on the highway collided with another car as it attempted to cross the highway from Irymple Avenue.

A 22 year old Mildura man has been charged with two counts of culpable driving and two counts of dangerous driving causing death over the Irymple crash.
